Spring Musical Auditions

It is time to begin preparing for auditions for the 2009 Spring Musical. Each student should prepare a song with accompaniment only CD or tape. If you are interested in an acting part, a short monologue should be prepared. If you are interested in a student leadership position, you should choreograph a dance. Also for the audition, all students will be expected to come to one or both of our dance workshops that will be held after school. There, each student will learn a short dance to be presented at the audition. You can sign up to audition in the chorus room. Any questions should be directed to Ms. Killian.

The following is the schedule for Spring Musical Auditions:

January 15th and 16th - Dance Workshop 4:00-6:00
January 17th - Musical Auditions 9:00-???

Chick Fil A Calendars

The Band, Chorus, and Show Choir are selling Chick Fil A Calendars. The sale will last until Christmas break. As usual, each student that sells these calendars will receive 50% of the profit. They are being sold for $6.00 each and the profit is $3.00 each so students will receive $1.50 in their account per calendar sold. This money can be used for fees and Florida trip expenses.

Winter Concerts

The Band and Chorus will present their winter concerts during the second week of December. Information about each concert can be seen below:

Show Choir Rehearsal

The Show Choir members who are performing in Florida will have a rehearsal on Saturday, December 6 from 9:30-12:00. Please plan to attend!

End of Fruit Sale

All fruit orders should be turned in to Mr. White or Mr. Daniel by 8:30 AM Tuesday, December 2. Online orders will be suspended at the end of the day on Monday, December 1.
