2017-2018 Marching Band Upcoming Dates/Events

We have several dates coming up that involve current 8th-11th grade students who plan on participating in Alexander’s Band program.  Some are for students who want to participate in marching band and some are for all students.  We understand that there are various trips with the middle schools and we have tried to avoid too many conflicts.  We will work with any issues on an individual basis.  Several documents with information are available on the band information and forms page of this website.

Check the calendar on this site for the most up to date times and days for rehearsals.

If you would like to expedite the process for band sign-up night.  Please print the following forms and complete them.  On sign-up night, you will turn in these forms and a $100 deposit for marching band.

Brass/Woodwind Auditions:                       May 15 and 16 – 4:00 – 6:00

(ALL students participating in a band class at AHS during the 2017-2018 school year.  This is for class and chair placement.  Audition times will be assigned the week prior to the audition.)

Percussion Clinic:                                      May 8-12, 15-18 – 4:00-6:00
Percussion Auditions:                                May 23 – 6:00

(ALL percussion students)

Color Guard Clinic:                                    May 8-12, 15-18 – 4:00-6:00
Color Guard Auditions:                              May 19 – 6:00
(ALL students interested in joining color guard)

Marching Clinic:                                        May 17-19 – 4:30-6:00
(ALL Marching Band Students)

Band Sign-up Night:                      May 17 – 6:00-7:00
(ALL students and parents 8th-11th grade.  If a parent cannot attend, please check with Mr. White or Mr. Daniel to schedule a time to meet.)

Band Camp:                                                July 24-28 – 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
