Each student should prepare a song with accompaniment only CD or tape. If you are interested in an acting part, a short monologue should be prepared. If you are interested in a student leadership position, you should choreograph a dance. Also for the audition, all students will be expected to come to one or both of our dance workshops that will be held after school. There, each student will learn a short dance to be presented at the audition. You can sign up to audition in the chorus room. No student will be permitted to stay during this break.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What to Bring to Rehearsals:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Every participant should bring their honor choir music and a pencil to each rehearsal.  A student cannot be effective while sharing music with another student.  Water bottles are also recommended and encouraged.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Absences and Tardies:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;Any student that misses rehearsal on Friday evening will not be permitted into rehearsal Saturday morning without a written Doctor’s excuse.  Any student that misses a rehearsal on Saturday will not be permitted to perform in the concert.  All students should be in their seats at least 10 minutes before rehearsal begins.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Conduct and Rehearsal Attire:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is a school event. Appropriate school conduct is required.  In addition, all students must follow the Douglas County School System dress code requirements.  Any inappropriate behavior, inside or outside of rehearsals, will subject any student to dismissal from the chorus.  Parents, chorus teachers and school principals will be notified immediately of any inappropriate behavior.  Participation in this event is an honor and a privilege which carries with it responsibility.  We do not expect any problems with conduct, but everyone should know the consequences in advance.  Simply stated, respect the other participants, the directors and property. Please bring a bottle of water.  Let me know ASAP if there is a reason you  can not be there.  If we have a lot of folks who can not attend, we may  need to change plans.  We are changing to 6:00 - 9:00 to allow people to  get to the rehearsal.  There are several that could not get transportation  to school at 4:00.  If you are still having problems and can not attend  please let us know.  We'll do the best we can.  Keep checking the web  site for updates.&lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt; &lt;/div&gt; &lt;div&gt;The Lithia game has been moved to Monday at 6:30 PM.  We will leave  from the school as close to 5:00 PM as possible.  This of course will cut  one of our practices next week.  We will practice on Tuesday from 6 - 9 and  on Thursday from 4 - 7 PM.
